Turkish Cargo adds new freighter flights to Budapest

Turkish Cargo has launched direct scheduled freighter flights to Budapest as it ramps up its use of the airport.
The carrier said that as well as adding the freighter flights, Budapest (BUD) has become its main hub for eastern Europe with the creation of a regional directorate office in the city.
The regional directorate office coordinates the cargo sales activities of 21 countries.
The airline will now offer a total of four weekly A330 freighter flights between the Romanian airport and Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
The carrier serves 43 countries/120 destinations (31 direct cargo) in Europe.
Budapest becomes the airline's 95th destination for direct cargo flights.
