ISS Global Forwarding (GF) Qatar and Chapman Freeborn Air Chartering recently teamed-up to deliver urgent construction materials from Bangkok to Doha.
The urgent order consisted of 88 tonnes of material required for a unnamed “prestigious project” in Qatar.
ISS GF Qatar along with Chapman Freeborn operated multiple charter flights to airlift oversized wooden crates and related material that were required in Doha to complete work on the project.
“The air charters were mobilised in record time,” the partners said. “The ongoing pandemic flung multiple challenges for requisite landing permits, crew rest, handling but both ISS GF management and the team at Chapman Freeborn worked round the clock ensuring charters operated on schedule to ensure 100% success.
“All 88 tonnes were delivered to site in record time to the complete satisfaction of our client.”
ISS GF's Shamil Habib, country manager Qatar, said: “From origin to the final destination, our door to door product was capitalised and ISS takes pride in handling this time critical and prestigious shipment.
“We are proud to have highly trained professional staff collaborate alongside our trusted global partner, Chapman Freeborn for expertly handling all challenges professionally and delivering the promise.”
Naresh Bhatia, Chapman Freeborn’s cargo manager India, added: “For my love for urgent and time critical charters, this project was one of the most exciting and important ones that we have undertaken to date.
“We take pride in showcasing our professionalism and fulfilling customer gratification with vigilant planning, logistics co-ordination, mobilising aircraft and permits even during a pandemic.”
