Vekshin scoops Volga-Dnepr Group chief commercial officer role

The Volga-Dnepr Group has appointed Konstantin Vekshin as chief commercial officer as part of a wider move to centralise its approach to sales.
The cargo airline group — celebrating its 30th year of operations in 2020 – said that Vekshin’s key objectives will be to implement the its marketing directive and sales plan, in addition to the centralisation and digitalisation of all its sales teams.
Vekshin first joined the Volga-Dnepr Group in 1997, and developed his career from sales executive.
In October 2016, Vekshin was appointed managing director of CargoLogicManagement and since August 2018 he has held the position of executive president, charter cargo operations (CCO) for Volga-Dnepr Airlines.
Vekshin was also vice-president, charter and government division with Centurion Cargo Airlines and vice-president of airfreight charters with Bertling Logistics between 2013 and 2016 before re-joining the Volga-Dnepr Group.
Volga-Dnepr Group president Alexey Isaykin said: “It is through our Group’s joint successes that our company is in a good state of health whilst continuing to solve our clients objectives during these challenging times. Konstantin has exceptional experience and unique knowledge, which is appreciated not only by the Volga-Dnepr Group, but throughout the air cargo industry.”
The Group includes Volga-Dnepr Airlines, AirBridgeCargo and Atran.
