Medical equipment like diagnostic instruments and PPE equipment such as facemasks and surgical gloves can also continue to be transported within the cabin.

Medical and PPE equipment can also continue to be transported in the cabin on all wide-body aircraft routes.

Said a spokesperson for Swiss WorldCargo: “In order to transport commercial cargo effectively inside the aircraft cabin, additional airport handling competencies are required. Additionally, SWISS staff onboard every flight supervise all materials in order to ensure a safe journey.”
